Cream Cheese and Jalepeno Corn

by Donna Siniard
(Rome, Ga USA)

My mom always had corn in the summer. Tons of corn. I wanted to use it but my kids grew tired! My sis n law is a great cook and had had given me a recipe book she created with her great recipes. Her recipe was a little differnt so I used the base of it but created my own.. If no fresh corn buy the frozen bag of white corn. I usually have to get 2 and double the recipe. For 1 bag- 1 box cream cheese 1/2 c milk 6-7 jalepenos (chopped up in tiny pieces) and juice from the jar. salt and pepper. one half stick butter. Put frozen corn in large saucepan over lower medium heat add butter, milk salt pepper. Warm this a few minutes. Add cream cheese and jalepenos. Add juice to taste. Alot of juice will spice your corn up!! Cook until everything is melted and combined. Stir often and cook slowly. My sis n law uses chile peppers!!
