What kind of Corn Bread Recipe are you
Goes easily with soups, dinners, chili and more. The main thing is that it is a quick and easy sweet bread that will compliment any meal.
1/4 cup butter(melted)
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Grease a 8 inch square baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl add melted butter and blend in sugar. Beat in eggs & buttermilk then add remaining ingredients combine all ingredients well.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Makes 9 servings.
