Raw Chocolate Mousse Raw Food Dessert Recipes

This raw chocolate mousse recipe can be used ia a variety of ways. Add on top of your date nut torte, make popsicles, chocolate sauce topping for your ice cream or fruit.
Raw Chocolate Mousse
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
1 avocado, peeled and seeded
1/4 cup purified water
1/2 cup cacao or carob powder
2/3 cup pitted dates or agave
1 vanilla bean or 1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup raw coconut spread
Directions:
Combine ingredients in the blender or Vita-Mix until smooth, adding a little more water if needed. The more you add, the thinner it will be.
Variations:
Chocolate sauce use double the water.
Frozen fudge bars, freeze in popsicle molds.
